駱駝蹄源自於英文俚語「Camel Toe」，駱駝蹄是指因為穿著緊身褲而使得女性陰部形狀顯現的情形，又泛指女性性徵之代稱。[1][2]。此俚語在電影《天氣預報員》中有描述。與此對應的在男性身上發生的此現象稱為Moose Knuckle。[3]
